(Hint) the person in the drawing to the right is not Pop. It is one of a series that I am working on tentatively titled Western Icons. This drawing is entitled Giving Him what He Wants.

Pop is, rather, a husband, father, and grandfather, who has spent most of his life drawing, painting, and creating visual object. I have a BFA in studio art with a concentration in ceramics and a MA in Contemporary Art History, theory, and Criticism. I also teach art at a local university, my alma mater as a matter of fact.

I have long resisted marketing myself or my art, for no really good reason, but have recently decided that I would like to show off my work and my thoughts on art, just to see what happens. Thus, I created this website and a YouTube channel. I hope that you enjoy viewing the objects that I have made over all these years, and please be sure to check back every so often for updates as I complete more work and come up with new ideas as I experiment with both medium and style.
